Robert Eden, vintner and co-owner of Chateau Maris (located in the South of France) has lived in France since 1994 after traveling in Australia, Italy, Burgundy, Spain and California where he worked with renowned winemakers. Since 1997, he has pursued organic and biodynamic viticulture at Chateau Maris. Robert has been actively involved in the protection of the environment going so far as to build the first hemp cellar that passively consumes Co2. He regularly presents on the advantages of biodynamic viticulture and the importance of taking steps to reduce the impact on the environment in the wine industry.
Kevin Parker, co-proprietor of Chateau Maris, is the Chief Executive Officer of Sustainable Insight Capital Management (SICM), a New York-based, global asset management firm that launched in 2013. Prior to working for SICM, Kevin served as a member of the Group Executive Committee of Deutsche Bank between 2001 and 2012 and as the Global Head of Asset Management from 2004 to 2012. He is a globally recognized leader in the field of sustainable investing and is a passionate advocate for action in the fight against climate change. He is also a member of the Sustainable Accounting Standards Board (SASB).
